Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Material Handler to support our operations in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of raw materials, shipping and receiving, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies.
- Store materials in designated locations following inventory control procedures.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and material movements.
- Support production by delivering materials to appropriate departments as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and cleanroom procedures in a tobacco-free environment.
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking.
- Must be able to work in a tobacco-free, smoke-free cleanroom environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a cleanroom and warehouse setting where cleanliness, safety, and contamination control are critical. All employees must comply with strict hygiene and safety protocols.
