Forklift Driver
Location: Tooele, UT
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to support operations at our mesh manufacturing facility in Tooele, Utah. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting production and shipping needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, and stack materials
- Transport raw materials and finished mesh products between production, storage, and shipping areas
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA regulations
- Assist with inventory tracking and documentation as needed
- Support other warehouse or production tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to safely handle heavy materials
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal, mesh, or industrial manufacturing
- Experience operating multiple types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, or reach)
