Acoustical Ceiling Grid and Tile Installer
Location: Salt Lake City
Pay Range: $26–$30/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Shifts start at 4:00 AM, 5:00 AM, or 7:00 AM
Overtime: Available
Position Summary:
We are looking for experienced and dependable Acoustical Ceiling Grid and Tile Installers to join our team on a commercial project in Salt Lake City. This role involves installing suspended ceiling grid systems and acoustical tiles with precision and efficiency. Ideal candidates are comfortable working at heights, following blueprints, and collaborating with site teams to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:

Lay out and install metal ceiling grid systems according to specifications and plans

Cut ceiling tiles and grid materials accurately using appropriate tools
-
Suspend grid systems securely using hangers, wires, and anchors
-
Install acoustical ceiling tiles with attention to fit, finish, and alignment
-
Safely operate ladders and scissor lifts to perform overhead work
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-
Coordinate with site supervisors and follow safety protocols at all times
Qualifications:
-
2 years of experience in acoustical ceiling installation preferred
-
Proficient with construction tools and able to read layout plans or blueprints
-
Comfortable working at heights and on elevated platforms
-
OSHA 10 certification required
-
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Stand, kneel, reach, and climb ladders regularly
-
Work in various indoor jobsite conditions
