Job Summary:
The Content Liquidation Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the liquidation of inventory across international markets. This role ensures surplus, obsolete, or returned goods are efficiently sold, redistributed, or disposed of in compliance with company policies and global regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the liquidation of excess, returned, or obsolete inventory across international locations
- Work with global vendors, buyers, and liquidation partners to maximize recovery value
- Analyze inventory reports and identify liquidation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company standards
- Negotiate pricing and terms with third-party buyers or liquidation channels
- Track and report on liquidation performance, recovery rates, and cost savings
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to streamline processes
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory movements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or liquidation preferred
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and trade compliance
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Excel or inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with global marketplaces or resale channels
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Multilingual abilities (a plus)
Work Environment:
