Lumper (2nd Shift) – Warehouse Associate
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84104
Schedule: 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening)
Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary (October 2026 – January 2027)
Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring two (2) temporary 2nd Shift Lumpers to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Salt Lake City. This role is focused on heavy manual material handling, stocking, and inventory organization. It is a physical, high-energy position perfect for someone who enjoys staying on the move and working within a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and automotive parts.
- Stock inventory accurately throughout the facility using handheld inventory scanners.
- Maintain warehouse organization and assist with routine inventory control tasks.
- Prioritize workplace safety by strictly adhering to all facility safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements & Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 lbs.
- Experience using inventory scanners or mechanical lifting tools is a plus, but not required.
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime as needed.
