Maintenance Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair work at a residential property. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes initiative, and can independently manage daily maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform unit turn/make-ready tasks including painting, drywall repair, and basic cleaning.
• Conduct general repairs such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas, grounds, and building systems.
• Assist with emergency and on-call maintenance needs as required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or apartment settings.
• Strong knowledge of general repair skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and climbing stairs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with maintenance software is a plus.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends 9am-5pm
