Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Manager for one of our clients in Sterling, VA. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations for a moving company, ensuring inventory, equipment, and materials are properly organized and handled. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, and comfortable managing warehouse activities and working with a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Coordinate receiving, organizing, storing, and moving materials and equipment
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and daily assignments
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure supplies and equipment are properly organized
- Coordinate with drivers, movers, and internal teams to support daily operations
- Ensure loading and unloading activities are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Identify operational issues and assist with improving warehouse processes
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in moving, logistics, transportation, or a related industry is a plus
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, responsible, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
