HVAC Counter Sales Representative
Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00
Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting contractors and walk-in customers with HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies while providing excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities

Assist customers at the counter with HVAC parts, equipment, and supply purchases

Provide accurate product recommendations based on customer needs

Process sales orders, invoices, returns, and exchanges

Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries

Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocking and organizing products

Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams as needed

Handle cash, credit, and account transactions accurately

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter area
Qualifications
-
HVAC industry knowledge preferred (residential and/or commercial)
-
Previous counter sales, inside sales, or customer service experience
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer skills (POS systems, inventory software)

Ability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs]

Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Preferred Experience

Experience working for an HVAC distributor or supply house

Familiarity with HVAC brands, parts, and equipment
