Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Maintenance Porter to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of their facility during business hours. This role ensures that common areas remain presentable and supports the maintenance team with light upkeep tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and high-traffic areas throughout the day.
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Respond promptly to spills, messes, and urgent cleaning needs.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting issues.
- Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Monitor building appearance and report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Provide courteous assistance to staff and visitors when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or porter services preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Expected Results:
- Facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming during business hours.
- Supplies are consistently stocked and available.
- Maintenance issues are reported and addressed promptly.
