Light Industrial – Forklift Operator

Position Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker as applicable)

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Move product to and from storage areas, racks, and staging areas

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues

Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners or warehouse systems
-
Assist with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as needed

Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times

Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Valid forklift certification
-
1+ year of forklift operating experience (adjust based on needs)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work on feet for extended periods

Strong attention to safety
Preferred:

Experience with reach trucks or order pickers

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
