Installation Technician
Location: Manassas, VA
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $25 to $30 an hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment or systems at customer locations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and configure equipment or systems according to specifications

Perform routine maintenance and repairs

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site

Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards

Provide excellent customer service and explain system functionality to clients

Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED (technical certification is a plus)
-
Previous experience in installation, maintenance, or a related field preferred

Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-
Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various environments (heights, outdoors, etc.)
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with [HVAC, security systems, cable/internet, appliances, etc.]

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Customer-facing experience
