Landscape Installer / Lawn Maintenance Worker
Location: Manassas, VA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Landscape Installer / Lawn Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves both landscape installation and regular lawn care services for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installation (planting trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, etc.)
- Assist with hardscape projects (patios, walkways, retaining walls)
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing
- Prepare job sites (grading soil, removing debris)
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely
- Load/unload materials like soil, stone, and plants
- Follow instructions from crew leader and maintain clean job sites
- Perform seasonal work (leaf cleanup, pruning, mulching)
Requirements
- Experience in landscape installation and lawn mowing required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Experience using tools (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Team player with strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of plants and basic landscaping techniques
- Experience with irrigation or hardscape installation
- Ability to read basic job plans or layouts
