Job Title: Restoration Technician
Position Summary:
The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing restoration and mitigation services for residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. This role involves responding to emergency calls, assessing damages, setting up equipment, performing cleanup and demolition, and assisting with repair and rebuilding efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to provide excellent customer service during stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to emergency service calls for water, fire, mold, and storm damage.

Perform mitigation services including water extraction, structural drying, smoke/soot removal, and mold remediation.

Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers.

Conduct demolition, debris removal, cleaning, and sanitization as needed.

Document work performed with photos, notes, and daily job logs.

Assist in the repair and rebuilding process when required.

Follow all safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate professionally with customers, explaining the restoration process and answering questions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Support crew leaders and project managers to ensure jobs are completed on time and to company standards.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Prior experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade (preferred, but training available).

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments (wet, smoky, confined, or elevated spaces).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
