We are currently seeking a Service Coordinator to help grow the companies Commercial Service Department. This role is critical in managing service jobs from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations and satisfied customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for service customers, developing and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Handle incoming service requests via phone or email, creating service work orders for scheduling or dispatching technicians and estimators.
  • Schedule technicians efficiently using Google calendars and scheduling boards, taking into account location, skill sets, and equipment needs.
  • Order materials, coordinate use of bucket trucks, lifts, and other equipment as needed.
  • Organize and deliver quotes to customers, following up as required.
  • Monitor technician locations and update daily time cards.
  • Ensure customer information is up-to-date (email, mailing address, AR contact, phone number).
  • Schedule staff for customer estimates.
  • Assist customers with AEP Rebate programs for potential cost savings.
  • Process credit card payments and promptly invoice customers for completed work.
  • Issue and process purchase orders for the department.
  • Call in 811 dig tickets and determine permit needs, ensuring proper closure.
  • General filing, both paper and electronic.
  • Participate in collection efforts on past-due accounts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to distinguish between normal and emergency situations.
  • Detail-oriented with big-picture thinking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Data entry skills with high accuracy.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Construction background, scheduling, or dispatching experience a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work inside and outside as needed.
  • Able to pass a drug test.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday-Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • This position is fully on-site (no remote work).
