Position Overview:
Now seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service / Sales Representative. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping customers find the right products for their needs, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and building long-term relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring every customer interaction reflects the companies commitment to quality service and community values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with product inquiries and service needs.
- Provide product knowledge and guidance on vented and ventless gas logs, grills, fireplaces, garage doors, operator systems, and accessories.
- Prepare accurate quotes, process sales orders, and handle customer transactions.
- Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain product displays and showroom appearance to create a welcoming environment.
- Stay up to date on product lines, promotions, and industry trends.
- Support their “shop local” mission by representing the company in a professional and community-minded manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale and order management systems.
- Team player with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
