Job Title: Office Administrator / Inside Sales Representative
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Office Administrator / Inside Sales Representative to support daily operations and drive sales growth for a construction wholesale supply business. This role combines administrative coordination with customer service and sales support, serving as a key point of contact for contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing both office responsibilities and sales-related tasks in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration
- Manage daily office operations including phones, email, filing, and scheduling
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and sales orders
- Maintain accurate customer and vendor records
- Coordinate deliveries, shipments, and logistics with warehouse staff
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering stock
- Support accounting functions such as data entry, billing, and collections follow-up
- Maintain organized documentation for contracts, pricing, and vendor agreements
Inside Sales
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries
- Prepare and follow up on quotes for contractors and customers
- Process incoming orders via phone, email, and walk-in requests
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Support outside sales team with lead tracking and customer communication
- Assist with pricing updates and product promotions
- Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration, inside sales, or customer service
- Experience in construction, building materials, or wholesale supply preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with ERP or order-entry systems a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
