Payroll Clerk – Hiring Immediately | $18–$23/hr+
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Payroll Clerk to support a well-established dealership group in the area. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers, accuracy, and people.
Position Summary
The Payroll Clerk plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple locations. This position also supports employee benefits administration and works closely with accounting and HR teams.
Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including monthly commissions

Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws

Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner

Respond to employee payroll questions and provide excellent customer service

Process garnishments and wage withholdings

Manage benefit updates including health insurance and 401(k) changes

Coordinate with HR on employee leave and related matters
Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and follow-through skills

Experience with payroll systems (Netchex is a plus)

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Pay & Schedule

$18.00 – $23.00/hour, depending on experience

Candidates with 5+ years of payroll experience may qualify for higher pay
