Office Manager
Position Summary
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations to ensure the office runs efficiently and professionally. This role supports staff, coordinates office procedures, manages communication, and assists leadership with organizational and operational tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and administrative functions
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Assist with invoicing, billing, payroll support, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and internal documents
- Support hiring, onboarding, and employee record management
- Coordinate with project managers, field staff, subcontractors, and clients as needed
- Ensure office policies and procedures are followed
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration or office management preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in construction or contracting environments is a plus
