Job Title: CDL Class B Roll-Off Dump Truck Driver
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Roll-Off Dump Truck Driver to transport and deliver roll-off containers to customer locations, construction sites, and disposal facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience operating roll-off equipment, maintain a strong commitment to safety, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class B roll-off truck to transport, deliver, and pick up roll-off containers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
- Secure loads and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Deliver containers to construction sites, commercial properties, and residential locations.
- Transport waste, debris, construction materials, and other approved loads to designated disposal or recycling facilities.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules and job site conditions.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck and equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Experience operating roll-off trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, lifting, and securing equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to enter and exit the truck multiple times throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Work Environment
- Construction sites, industrial facilities, landfills, recycling centers, and customer locations.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and heavy equipment operations.
