Help cook and assemble meals under the supervision of kitchen staff or chefs

Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with health and safety standards

Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment, and notify supervisors of shortages

Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures

Assist with dishwashing, garbage disposal, and general kitchen housekeeping

Support dietary staff in special meal requests and accommodations for residents

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and a safe, clean environment

Report any food or equipment issues to the kitchen supervisor promptly
