We are Hiring - Cabler Operator - NIGHT SHIFT Monday through Thursday 6PM - 6AM
Basic Function
Sets up, operates, and monitors 36” to 64” cabling equipment used in the manufacturing of fiber optic cable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Operations
- Read and interpret set-up sheets and product codes to determine product specifications, machine adjustments, and material requirements.
- Set up, operate, and monitor cabling lines for standard products.
- Operate re-spooling equipment in the cabling area to process filler materials.
- Observe, measure, and inspect products at various stages to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Accurately complete all required production documentation.
- Clean equipment as needed to prevent contamination.
- Identify production issues or defects and assist in troubleshooting or notify a supervisor as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines during operations.
2. Quality & Teamwork
- Maintain a strong focus on product quality and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support production goals.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Six months of related experience or training preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery in a production environment
- Proficiency in using tools and measuring devices
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions and quality procedures
- Basic math and handwriting skills for accurate documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift operation ability preferred
