Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate (CDL B)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver with a valid CDL Class B license to transport windows, doors, and related building materials to customer job sites and branch locations. This position also supports warehouse and yard operations as needed, including loading/unloading materials, operating forklifts, organizing inventory, and assisting with general facility duties. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, team-focused, and comfortable working both on the road and in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL Class B delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Deliver windows, doors, and building materials to customers and job sites in a timely and professional manner
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport
- Assist customers with unloading and verify delivery accuracy
- Maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation
- Support warehouse and yard operations when deliveries are not scheduled
- Receive, stock, organize, and stage materials in the warehouse and yard
- Assist with inventory counts and general housekeeping duties
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, dispatch, and management
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with clean driving record
- Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials on a regular basis
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Previous delivery, warehouse, or building materials experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and delivery environments
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed
