Job Full Description
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, storing, picking, and distributing materials and supplies. This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize products and supplies in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or internal distribution.
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify orders and shipments for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with inventory counts.
- Use pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Keep warehouse, storage, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling and storing materials.
- Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
- Communicate shortages, damaged products, or order discrepancies to management.
- Assist other warehouse team members as needed to keep daily operations running efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, stocking, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically active environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull warehouse materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and inventory-system experience is a plus.
- Must follow all workplace safety and organizational policies.
