Job Full Description
A Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping apartments, rental properties, and common areas safe, clean, and in good working condition.
Typical Duties:
- Complete general maintenance and repair work
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Repair drywall, doors, locks, fixtures, and other property items
- Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants (turnovers/make-readies)
- Perform basic painting, patching, and minor carpentry
- Inspect the property and identify needed repairs
- Maintain common areas and exterior spaces as needed
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Respond to occasional emergency maintenance issues
Basic Qualifications: General maintenance experience, basic knowledge of plumbing/electrical repairs, ability to use tools, dependable transportation, and the ability to work independently.
