Job Description:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dish area while supporting the kitchen and dining team throughout the shift.
Job Duties:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely.
- Keep the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized.
- Return clean dishes and supplies to designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, remove trash, and assist with general kitchen cleanup.
- Follow all sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Assist cooks and other kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed.
- Maintain a steady workflow during busy meal periods.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
