Job Full Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector with extensive experience in machined metal parts as well as knowledge of measuring instruments
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bubbling Prints/ Producing Inspection Reports
2. Inspect parts to spec based on prints and drawings.
3. Follow defined inspection procedures and use of calibrated equipment.
4. Review new order drawings to create:
o In process inspection plans.
o Inspection plans for details that cannot be inspected on the shop floor.
5. Understand workload and adjust it accordingly.
6. Create Shipping documents for product ready to be sent to customers
Qualifications:
- Must have 2 years’ experience in Quality Control for machined metal parts as well as knowledge of measuring instruments and gaging with experience using gage blocks, pins, micrometers, calipers, and thread gages.
- Must have experience reading mechanical drawings.
- Must have a friendly and positive attitude.
- Experience running a CMM is a big plus!
- 3-5 years’ experience as a machinist in a metal working machine shop or Aerospace environment is a big plus!
