Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position is Monday - Friday with the hours of 2:45pm - 11:00pm. The pay for this position ranges between $22.00 - $26.00, but depends on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery and equipment.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical issues.
- Analyze mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
- Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with field service teams to address equipment issues on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including voltmeters and ammeters.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility environment.
- Ability to analyze mechanical systems and troubleshoot effectively.
- Skilled in fabricating parts and components for machinery repairs.
- Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance schedules and records.
- Knowledge of operating scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members effectively.
