As a Tool Attendant/Driver, you will help ensure the maintenance and efficient operation of tools and equipment for our construction projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for safely and timely transporting tools, equipment, and materials to various job sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and scheduled service intervals.
- Collaborating with project teams to identify tool and equipment needs for upcoming projects and coordinating their procurement.
- Managing inventory levels, tracking tool usage, and facilitating the replacement or repair of damaged or worn-out tools.
- Assisting in the organization and cleanliness of the tool storage area, ensuring tools are readily accessible and properly stored.
- Safely operating company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition.
- Assisting in loading and unloading tools, equipment, and materials at job sites, and ensuring they are securely fastened for transit.
- Maintaining accurate logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Assisting in general labor tasks on job sites as needed, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and basic construction tasks.
Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 DOE
