Pay: $24.64-$28.56 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, would train on day shift 4/5AM start time until August 2025, and move to 2nd shift 3PM-1:30AM

Responsibilities:

- Conduct weld processes safely.
- Position, align, fit, and track weld parts to form units or subunits while following blueprints and design specifications.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material and task sequence.
- Use lifting devices such as cranes, hoists, or forklifts for moving heavy work pieces.
- Examine work pieces for quality or defects. Inspect, measure, or test welded work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Advise buyer/planner and/or staff manager of problems with inventory, material, process, delinquencies or other productions issues.
- Keep area clean and organized, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and support/follow company objectives and safety policies.
- Meet customer needs in a timely manner.
- Work in a team environment and troubleshoot welding and design problems.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Welding certification preferred with welding experience (3-5 years) required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Self- motivated and able to work independently with little instruction and guidance.
- Ability to operate lift truck safely to move and stage material.
- Computer literacy required. Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office; including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software required.
- Able to read and comprehend complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and other diagrams/designs.
- Able to use measuring tools to ensure product quality; including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Strong welding/cutting/fabrication skills, math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs.
