Position: Production Sifter
Type: Temporary - could turn into a temp to hire for the right candidate
Location: Woodinville
Pay: $19-$21 per hour, DOE
Schedules: Monday-Friday, 6AM-2:30PM
Job Details: Responsible for multi-tasking while working on 4 different sifters. The initial job will start with learning the different salts. Once the salts have been sifted, they will need to be moved over to the work-in-progress (WIP) staging area.
Qualifications:
- Machine fill and label packaged salt totes to the required specifications.
- Work with hanging, sorting, folding, and moving salt tones in and out for sifting.
- Ensure your work area is clean and organized at all times.
- Ensure all orders are complete, accurate and on time for the production optical order department.
- Ability to make adjustment on the fly on computer screens.
- Must be able to complete tasks on time to maintain the needs of the production schedule.
- Assemble, clean, and break down equipment at beginning or end of shift.
- Demonstrate the willingness and ability to help other teams as needed.
- Must exhibit excellent judgement and pay attention to detail when packaging/bagging all products.
- Poses excellent people skills as production works with all departments.
- Other duties assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager.
Requirements:
- Forklift and electric pallet jack preferred but not required.
- 2-3 years production or manufacturing experience preferred. Food is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and stack 35-40 pound pallets throughout an 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and bend for an 8 hour shift.
- Strong interpersonal skills focused on teamwork.
