Job Full Description
Position: Machine Operator (Packaging Line)
Type: Contract position
Location: Woodinville
Pay: $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5AM,7AM-1PM,3PM (Start and finish time is various, depending on production schedule, no weekend shift, except urgent production needed)
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery (mixers, pasteurizers, boilers, conveyors, packaging equipment, etc.) and accurately scale/prepare raw ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff to meet production goals and resolve issues.
- Assemble and package products according to guidelines for labeling, sealing, and product integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
- Manage and support the filling team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols, use required PPE and promptly report concerns or incidents.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and company objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience in operating filling equipment and the ability to master the operation of equipment in a short period of time.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Flexibility in terms of time to accommodate afternoon to evening shifts.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Ability to communicate closely with management, understand the company's policies, and reflect them in the field.
- Ability to detect potential problems with machinery or defect raw ingredients.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
