Job Full Description
Position: Stand Up Forklift Operator
Type: Contract position
Location: Woodinville
Pay: $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7AM-4:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store raw materials and supplies.
- Pick, sort, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
- Supply materials to production lines as needed.
- Conduct inventory checks, maintain accurate records, and follow FIFO practices.
- Operate forklifts and maintain warehouse equipment (license required)
- Monitor temperature-controlled storage (refrigerated/freezer areas)
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP/cGMP)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience, preferably in a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar preferred).
- Proven ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (license REQUIRED)
- Ability to read and interpret batch sheets, work orders, and material labels.
- Comfortable working in temperature-controlled or cold environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and company policies precisely.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and occasional shift adjustments.
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory tracking, and email communication).
