Position: Sr. Maintenance Technician
Type: Full-Time, Evaluation to Hire
Location: Woodinville
Pay: $31-$36 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM
Job Details
This position supports production by maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure maximum efficiency. The Sr. Maintenance Technician will play a key hands-on role in equipment reliability, working closely with Production and Engineering teams to maintain optimal performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment to reduce downtime
- Dismantle and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes
- Monitor equipment performance and proactively address issues using appropriate diagnostic tools
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to assess equipment status and implement improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities
- Assist in developing and executing preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies, including ordering and tracking as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
- Train and support other technicians as needed
- Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, analyzing trends and performance data
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Production Maintenance Technician
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience working with pneumatic actuators and cylinders
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering specifications
- Familiarity with automation systems, robotics, sensors, fiber optics, and motors
- Experience using multimeters and standard hand tools for diagnostics and repair
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience writing maintenance procedures and reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a GMP environment
- PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Experience performing equipment Installation Qualification (IQ) protocols
