Job Full Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will play a key role in troubleshooting and maintaining various electrical and mechanical systems within our facility.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow blueprints and specifications to troubleshoot electrical wires, sensors, relays, heating elements, weight cells, AC Input/Out's, DC Input/Out's, pneumatic systems, camera and optical systems, hydraulic systems, and PLC equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair activities on motors, motor controls, electrical switchgear, and 3 phase-480v service.
  • Utilize knowledge of PLC (specifically Allen Bradley) and VFD drive systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Perform regular inspections and tests to identify potential problems and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with PLC (Allen Bradley) and VFD drive systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
