Line Lead - Packaging & Warehouse Operations | Ridgefield, WA

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Line Lead to oversee packaging and warehouse operations at our Ridgefield, WA facility. This leadership role requires proven supervisory experience in a packaging or warehouse environment, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills to coordinate team activities and maintain accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise packaging line operations and warehouse activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and priorities with team members
  • Monitor quality control standards and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management, team members, and other departments
  • Train new employees on safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety standards
  • Track production metrics and report on team performance
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions
  • Assist with scheduling and coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Previous lead/supervisory experience in packaging or warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in record-keeping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management and cycle counting
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Lift up to 50 lbs consistently

  • Visual acuity for quality inspections and inventory counting
