Line Lead - Packaging & Warehouse Operations | Ridgefield, WA
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Line Lead to oversee packaging and warehouse operations at our Ridgefield, WA facility. This leadership role requires proven supervisory experience in a packaging or warehouse environment, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills to coordinate team activities and maintain accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise packaging line operations and warehouse activities
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate daily work assignments and priorities with team members
- Monitor quality control standards and ensure compliance with procedures
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and other departments
- Train new employees on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety standards
- Track production metrics and report on team performance
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions
- Assist with scheduling and coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous lead/supervisory experience in packaging or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with inventory management and cycle counting
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
