Receptionist
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team in an industrial environment. This is a full-time position serving as the first point of contact for our company.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation
- $20 - $22 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming reception area
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Maintain organized filing systems and records
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth daily operations
Required Qualifications
- Previous receptionist experience required
- Preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must be comfortable working in an industrial setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Familiarity with office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax machines)
- Customer service experience
Work Environment
This position is based in an industrial facility. Candidates must be comfortable in this type of setting, which may include exposure to manufacturing operations, warehouse areas, and industrial equipment.
