Coatings Operator Technician

Position Details
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
- Schedule: Day shift training, transitioning to swing shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
- Employment Type: Temporary-to-hire with evaluation period
- Location: Vancouver, WA
Primary Responsibilities
- Support daily processing of parts involving coating applications
- Inspect incoming parts for quality and compliance with specifications
- Follow detailed work instructions and procedures accurately
- Perform disassembly and reassembly of parts as required
- Execute cleaning and refurbishment using chemical and mechanical processes
- Apply coatings to parts using both manual and automated methods
- Maintain accurate data entry and record-keeping for all processed components
- Operate equipment safely and maintain quality standards throughout production
- Complete assigned coating tasks efficiently and on time
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chemical processes and equipment
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate strongly preferred
- Mechanical understanding and technical awareness
- Proficient in computer software applications for data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to comprehend and execute work orders and procedures accurately
- Physical stamina for full-day production work
- Strong attention to detail for quality control
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic for daily assignments
- Willingness to work swing shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) after training period
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification (company will provide training if required)
- Previous experience with chemical processing or coating applications
- Experience troubleshooting chemical tanks, processing fixtures, and related tools
- Background in manufacturing or industrial production environments
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
