Sanitation Supervisor / Lead – Day Shift (Mon–Fri)
Pay: $20–23/hr DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift Location: Vancouver, WA Staffing Agency Placement – Full-time Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor/Lead to support a growing manufacturing facility. This role oversees all sanitation and housekeeping functions across the plant, including office areas, warehouse spaces, production zones, and exterior grounds. If you have a strong background in sanitation within food production or similar environments—and enjoy leading a team—this is a great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the sanitation team, assigning daily tasks and ensuring all cleaning activities are completed and documented.

Maintain cleanliness across the facility, including offices, break rooms, restrooms, warehouse areas, and exterior grounds.

Support sanitation operations within GMP production areas and provide guidance as needed.

Review and maintain sanitation records and ensure compliance with SOPs and the Master Sanitation Schedule.

Coordinate major cleaning projects with departments such as shipping, receiving, production, and quality.

Manage chemical inventory, storage, and proper usage of approved cleaning chemicals.

Serve as the primary contact for external sanitation service providers.

Assist with creating, revising, and implementing SSOPs and related documentation.

Report all quality and safety concerns to management.

Monitor and enforce GMP compliance within assigned areas.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
-
Certification in Sanitation or similar credentials preferred.

Previous experience in the food industry, especially in sanitation, quality, or production leadership.

Experience in janitorial or sanitation work.

Ability to supervise and train sanitation staff.

Strong integrity, dependability, and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements

Regular standing, walking, climbing, talking/listening, and use of hands.

Frequent reaching with hands and arms.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Willingness to wear required PPE.
Work Environment

Typical warehouse and production environment.

Occasional exposure to high noise levels (hearing protection required).

Possible exposure to fumes, dust, powders, and other airborne particles.

Must be able to work around ingredients or products containing common food allergens.
