Shipping Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our client's team in Ridgefield, WA. This is a clerical/office-based role focused on coordinating shipping operations and supporting logistics processes. If you thrive in a structured environment, have a sharp eye for detail, and are comfortable working with shipping systems and Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process outbound shipments accurately and on time
- Maintain shipping records, documentation, and data entry using shipping software
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Track shipments and follow up on any discrepancies or delays
- Generate reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications
- Support general office and administrative functions related to shipping and logistics
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a shipping, logistics, or office coordination role required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) — strong skills required
- Experience with shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay Rate: $21.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Employment Type: Temp to Hire
