Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator and Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, as well as performing various warehouse duties to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, move products within the warehouse, and stack pallets.
- Inspect equipment before use and perform minor maintenance as needed.
- Verify and keep accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime if needed.
