Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Morgantown, WV

Compensation: Pay up to $20/hour, based on experience
Job Summary:
A local company in Morgantown, WV, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Accounting team. This role involves processing accounts payable transactions, resolving invoice discrepancies, and providing support for internal and external inquiries. Accuracy, organization, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and enter invoices into the ERP/accounting system.

Reconcile invoices with purchase orders or records.

Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Assist with vendor inquiries and statement reconciliations.

Support weekly and ad-hoc check runs.

Code and process non-PO invoices (e.g., freight, utilities).

File invoices and maintain recurring expense records.

Monitor reports and escalate issues as needed.

Support electronic invoice processing for shipping vendors.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

3+ years of accounts payable or related experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
