About the Role:
A growing manufacturing company in the Shell Lake area is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to take ownership of facility and equipment maintenance. This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced in electrical systems, HVAC troubleshooting, and mechanical repair — someone who can spot issues before they become problems and keep operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate repair records and maintenance logs
- Support safety standards and facility organization
What You Bring:
- Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics
- General mechanical aptitude and repair experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varied environments (hot, cold, elevated spaces)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
