What You'll Do
As the Assistant Line Lead, you'll support daily production operations while helping your team meet production, quality, and safety goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Line Lead with daily production operations.
- Help ensure production goals and schedules are met.
- Prepare production lines before each shift.
- Monitor product quality and food safety standards.
- Enter production data accurately into the computer system.
- Support and coach production employees.
- Promote a safe workplace by following OSHA and GMP guidelines.
- Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns.
- Work with maintenance and shipping to keep production moving efficiently.
- Help train team members and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of production or food production experience.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable using computers for production reporting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk throughout your shift.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Frequently bend, reach, push, and pull.
- Follow all food safety and OSHA requirements.
