Bindery Assistant - 1st Shift
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Bindery Assistant for a growing print production and manufacturing company in the Eau Claire area. This full-time position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, staying active throughout the day, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment.
Individuals with experience in general labor, manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, material handling, or machine support are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including material handling, staging, loading, and moving products
- Assist machine operators with job setup and production-related duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping, disposing of waste, and monitoring supply levels
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Safely operate basic tools and equipment as directed
- Read and follow written work instructions and production information
- Support daily production goals and assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic computer skills or the ability to learn necessary applications
- Ability to work overtime when needed based on production demands
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, and move throughout the workday
- Use hands and fingers to handle materials, tools, and equipment
- Lift, carry, and move materials as needed
- Maintain attention to detail during repetitive production tasks
