Overview
Express Employment of River Falls is hiring multiple Assemblers for a client located right here in town. Experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply!
Schedule(s)
1st Shift: Monday to Friday (7:30am-4pm)
2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday (1:30pm-12am)
Pay: $17-$21/hr depending on experience
Duties
- Read, understand, and utilize various documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc.
- Identify and assist in process improvement measures
- Build wire harnesses from documentation
- Crimp terminals on wire using hand tools
- Cut wire to length using hand tools
- Cut and crimp wire using automatic machines
- Tinning and soldering
- Apply labels, device IDs, and tie wires
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to:
- Read, write, and understand English
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Work well with others
- Read and interpret documents, such as process instructions
- Work overtime depending on workload
- Distinguish wire colors and small print
- Strong attention-to-detail and organization skills
- Proficiency using precision measurement tools (tape measurer, ruler, etc.)
- Comex experience is a plus!
Location and Work Environment
Located in River Falls, this company is looking for dedicated employees with great attendance and communication skills. The facility is climate-controlled, and this is a mostly seated position.
