Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Slitter Operator for a client in Woodville, Wisconsin! As a Slitter Operator, this candidate is responsible for abiding by Good Manufacturing Practices, interpreting and following a production schedule, and setting up for each job order. This position requires machine operation experience and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 3:00pm) Friday (6:00am - 12:00pm)
2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday (3:00pm - 1:00am)
Pay: $18 - $20/hr
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow production schedule.
- Perform setups for each work order.
- Operate machinery at or above current standards to meet customer specifications.
- Manage and handle materials.
- Provide management with information to aid in process improvement.
- Complete required documentation in adherence with ISO and IATF certifications.
- Perform necessary routine and preventative maintenance as directed.
- Various duties as assigned by supervisor; this includes working in other areas when appropriate.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles and jib crane.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good eyesight (for visual inspections).
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to successfully utilize and interpret all measuring tools.
- Ability to problem solve.
