Job Title: Welder (First Shift)
Location: Hudson, WI
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $24.16 – $28.22/hour, depending on experience
Summary:
Seeking welders with MIG (GMAW) and flux-core (FCAW) welding experience for first shift positions. Experience with TIG (GTAW) and stick (SMAW) welding is a plus but not required. Candidates must be safety-conscious and able to interpret weld symbols and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG (GMAW) and flux-core (FCAW) welding on various products
- Interpret weld symbols, prints, and drawings
- Follow quality standards and weld sequence requirements
- Operate hoists and hydraulic presses (training provided)
- Maintain awareness of welding hazards and adhere to safety procedures
- Assist in training new welders as needed
- Meet or exceed production timelines while maintaining quality
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)
Qualifications:
- MIG and flux-core welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret job drawings and weld symbols
- Willingness to be trained on new equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Physical ability to handle job demands
