Job Full Description
Express Employment of St. Croix Falls has partnered with a company in Osceola who is in search of Extrusion Operators on 2nd and 3rd shifts pay is up to $23.50/hour. As an Extrusion Operator you will be helping with the very beginning of the cable making process. Extrusion is melting down product and overlaying it on copper.
Shifts and Pay:
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:00am
- 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 12am-8am
- Weekly pay every Friday
Job Duties:
- Following computerized instructions accurately set up, operate, and troubleshoot individual conductor extrusion process.
- Follow production schedules.
- Follow processes and correct errors to eliminate scrap and down time.
- Inspect product according to current Standard operating procedures and/or Control plan.
- Problem solve production issues as products are set up and ran to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Accurately charge times to jobs.
- Utilize correct raw materials ordered from Material Handler as needed for your assigned process.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Material movement via hand truck.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to walk and stand for duration of 8 hour shift.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
