Job Duties:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Move materials to and from work station, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
- Identify, label, and verify quantities.
- Quality check (patch/sand/repair any defects) and record materials completed.
- Ability to operate handheld saws.
- Ability to read a tape measure and general knowledge of addition and subtraction.
- Operate forklifts to be able to load and unload product.
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications for Material Handler:
- General knowledge of excel spreadsheets and computers.
- Certification to ride forklift truck preferred.
- Must be able to work well in a team.
- Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials.
- Ability to be on time and reliable.
