As a Lawn Care Applicator, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides in accordance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines. You will also assist with general landscaping tasks, perform property inspections, and interact with clients to ensure their needs are met. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in lawn care, pest control, or groundskeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers accurately and safely to turf, shrubs, and landscaped areas
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and farm equipment for application and landscaping work
- Conduct property inspections to identify pest activity, lawn issues, or treatment needs
- Provide professional and courteous customer service, explaining services and treatment plans to clients
- Maintain accurate logs of all treatments performed, products used, and site conditions
- Travel to multiple job sites daily while adhering to all driving and safety regulations
- Assist with general landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, and site cleanup when needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery (e.g., spreaders, sprayers)
- Knowledge of state and federal application guidelines for chemical treatments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
